My life has been ruled by Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) numbers for the past three years and the ones that I just got for my birthday this year are not all that great. I'm now up to 6.6 which is an increase of 1.3 over the past three months. While the number itself is not all that bad, the level of the increase over such small increment of time gives one the impression that the cancer's momentum may be beginning to pick up. If this is actually the case, then I'm looking at "treatment" (which I have been turning myself inside out trying to avoid) coming in somewhere around three years.
If any of you research guys are listening, want to pick up the pace on that "cure" stuff for prostate cancer?
