Good News and Bad News from the biopsy a couple of weeks ago is in:
Bad News: More core samples with cancer and more cancer in new places.
Good News: The Gleason Score (which indicates the aggressiveness of the cancer) has not changed - it's still a relatively mild 6.
Good News: The cancer is probably still well contained within the gland - there's nothing to indicate that it has metastasized out side the prostate.
Bad News: My urologist wants to talk to me in January about "where we go from here." I don't expect that I'm going to like this conversation all that much.
